Near the ballpark at Town Madison, Prohibition wraps a surprisingly excellent BBQ experience in a fun cocktail-bar atmosphere. Their Large Format tray for 4–6 people is one of the best group dining spreads in North Alabama — piled impossibly high with Conecuh sausage, a perfectly seasoned half-chicken, sweet cornbread, sides, and sauces. New Market BBQ
One of the most fiercely loved BBQ secrets in North Alabama — a weekend-only, family-owned operation just northeast of Huntsville on Winchester Rd. Kelly and Libby Webb have been cooking old-fashioned pit-smoked whole shoulders since 2008. Their Smoked Mac & Cheese earned a spot on the official 100 Dishes to Eat in Alabama Before You Die list.
